From the President

Greetings,

My name is Christopher Wuebker, and I am the president of the Iowa Narcotics Officers’ Association (INOA).

The mission of the INOA is to “Provide education and training and to facilitate the establishment and growth of partnerships and communication between members.”  This is accomplished by the alliance of peace officers and other professionals who share a common interest in drug enforcement, in a collaborative effort to reduce the supply of and demand for illicit drugs and illegally diverted legal drugs, by providing quality training, by open information exchange, and speaking with one voice in support of effective legislation.

In 2004 INOA was formed as a means of creating a dynamic professional and fraternal organization. Our membership consists of individuals involved in law enforcement, corrections, prosecution, security professionals and other eligible individuals at the local, state, and federal levels. The Association is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization and works for the benefit of the membership and our community at large.

We are proud of our Association and currently have around 361 members. A benefit to being a member in the association includes an insurance premium paid for that member in good standing. The benefits include accidental death, in the line of duty death, and does include additional benefits for losses.

We host an annual conference where current, relevant topics of instruction are provided over a 3-day period by some of the most notable law enforcement instructors throughout the United States.

During our annual conference, we conduct raffles which supplement our general fund allowing us to provide an immediate monetary payment to our members and/or their families through a fallen officer’s fund.  Additionally, this death benefit is extended beyond our member to include their spouse or their children.

On June 21, 2024, INOA will be hosting our Annual INOA Golf Tournament Fundraiser at the Waveland Golf Course in Des Moines, Iowa.  The tournament proceeds will be placed into the INOA Survivor's Fund and given to the IOWA COPS organization to be used to make cash contributions to surviving spouses as well as assist in medical expenses for officers injured in the line of duty.

Since the INOA is a non-profit, we also provide assistance to the Iowa Concerns of Police Survivors (Iowa COPS).  We appreciate your generosity for the community and would deeply appreciate your generous donation to our Annual INOA Golf Tournament Fundraiser.  Your donation to INOA is tax deductible.

Sincerely,

IOWA NARCOTICS OFFICERS’ ASSOCIATION

Christopher Wuebker, President
